Windows 10 update KB5004476 outs for version 21H1, 20H2, 2004

Microsoft is now offering the KB5004476 update for Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 as an optional download outside of the regular schedule. There is just one fix included in this small update.

The documentation states that the update KB5004476 resolves an issue where Windows 10 users are redirected to the Microsoft Store when they try to install or launch an Xbox Game Pass game. You also get error codes 0x80073D26 or 0x8007139F.

You may obtain this patch if you’re having this problem by going to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update, selecting the Check for updates button, and then selecting the Download and Install option under the section that says “Optional quality update available.”

The standalone version of the update is also available for download on the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

For versions 2004, 20H2, and 21H1, the version number will rise to build 19041.1055, 19042.1055, and 19043.1055 after the update is installed.

The business advises against installing the update if you are not having this problem.
