Using Windows 10 to make your computer a mobile hotspot is nothing new. Long-standing operating system support for sharing an internet connection necessitated command-based setup, which is difficult for most users.
But since the Anniversary Update, Windows 10 has made it simple to share an internet connection with up to eight devices by adding a setting in the Settings app.

Using the Settings app, you may make Windows 10 a mobile hotspot. Here’s how:

On Mobile Hotspot, click.

To choose which network connection you wish to share, use the Share my Internet connection drop-down selection.
Choose a wireless technology (such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) under the “Share my Internet connection over” section to make Windows 10 a mobile hotspot.
Click the Edit button (optional).
Give the mobile hotspot a name that people will see when attempting to connect.
Provide a network password that users must use in order to login and authenticate.
Press the “Save” button.
(Optional) If you wish to maintain the mobile hotspot active even when no devices are connected, turn off the power-saving toggle switch.
You should be able to see and connect devices like other Windows devices, Android phones, iPhones, macOS PCs, iPads, and more to the internet once you’ve finished the procedures that transform Windows 10 into a mobile hotspot. The mobile hotspot section will identify devices that have connected to your shared wireless connection along with other helpful details like their name, IP address, and mac address.

Open the settings.
On Network & Internet, click.
On Mobile Hotspot, click.

Once the procedures are finished, Windows 10 will no longer share the internet connection over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
