File Explorer has been changed in Windows 11 and still has the same timeless appearance, but it now has a new, simple menu with only the most essential commands displayed. Because of this, the commands—including the Folder Options to personalize File Explorer—have been rearranged to make them harder to locate.
The majority of the actions and options have been moved to three new menus—Sort and group options, Layout and view options, and See more—because the View tab is no longer a component of File Explorer.
You may still access the Folder Options in the File Explorer or Control Panel even when the ribbon is no longer there.
This tutorial will teach you how to access the Folders Options settings in Windows 11 File Explorer in two different methods.
-
Open Folder Options for File Explorer on Windows 11
-
Open Folder Options for File Explorer via Control Panel
